Ben's Weekly Photos 30 and 31

Sorry to anyone who has been looking for Ben's latest pictures. I have been really busy and all I want to do when I get a free moment is play with Ben! He has been really active lately. He is not quite crawling yet. His "crawl" is an improvised version of the popular 1980's break dance moved known as "The Worm." I actually have it on video from last weekend. I am going to try an upload it an post it today or tomorrow. In other Ben news...he is cutting his 3rd tooth. He is getting his first "upper." It has been a little painful coming in. The other night we had to give him a dose of tylenol and numbing gel and he still didn't want to go to sleep. Good thing his mommy has the right touch and she was able to get him to go to sleep. Here are Ben's 30 and 31 Week photos. 30 was in honor of the opening week of football season. I couldn't get him to stay on his back long enough to take a picture. I told you he is active!!!

27 Weeks and 28 Weeks

One of Ben's favorite things is his chew toy Sophie the Giraffe. He loves biting her face these days. He also has a jungle sleep machine that simulates a jungle beat and the grunt of a giraffe. Here is Ben in his 27 week photo shoot "Rar'ing" like a lion. I replaced the previous sitting up photo from 27 Weeks. The new format proved more difficult than the old one. Luckily I took pictures of both.

In his 28 week photo, Ben was a little less enthusiastic. I think he was either in a food coma or we think he is getting some more teeth. He has been biting anything he can get his mouth on lately. Poor Sophie is lucky she is made of natural, resilient rubber!

Look Who's Kneeling!

This week for Ben's 26 Week (or what I like to call 6 months) picture, he did one of his new tricks! We all knew Ben has a strong upper body, but this week he learned how to push up onto his knees. He has even begun to rock a little, but hasn't quite figured out how to move his little apendages forward yet. If there is an object he desires in the vicinity, he gets onto his knees, rocks a few times and propels himself toward the object. If he doesn't land close enough he resets and tries again. Its funny to see! We are going to try and get a video of it this week and put it on the blog. Stay tuned. Here is Ben's 26 Week errrr 6 month picture:
